Kanye West has been one of the most inventive rap music producers out right now when it comes to music videos and beats. The "Good Life" off his most recent album is a great example of groundbreaking music videos. It takes the idea of a vintage cartoon feel as he raps in front of a green screen. Like all of his music videos, it features a beautiful video vixen. The whole ideas of the cartoons being shown just hammers home the point of the good life. You will see everything from cartoon money falling to the flashing lights of Vegas.

The video begins with Kanye pulling out a marker that he uses to write on the screen that then turns into a cornucopia of colorful images that splatter the screen. What makes this video so dramatic is that all the real people in it are shown in black and white. My favorite part is at the 2-minute mark when Kanye's glasses project images and words like "booze". As far as rap music videos go, Kanye does not follow the standard look of nice cars, big parties and girls.
