Busta Rhymes is set to face trial for assault charges, allegedly for beating his former driver "with a closed fist about the head and neck". This was apparently over a dispute about back pay. He was all set to go for a plea deal offer that would have allowed the rapper to remain free but the judge withdrew it. We'll keep up with what happens.

Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland was involved in a rowdy scuffle (to put it mildly) with his wife Mary this past weekend. Reports are that police were called to the Graciela Hotel near their home in Toluca Lake, CA. Rooms were damaged at the luxury inn with holes in the walls, broken plates and items thrown everywhere. Mary then went home and burned approximately $10,000 dollars worth of Weiland's clothes. She was arrested and booked for felony arson vandalism. Sounds like it might be time to call in a marriage counselor stat!
