The music came from many musicians and different countries and was broadcast live on television for the world to see. The music lasted a full 24 hours with performances starting in Sydney, Australia and spanned 7 continents with a world wide audience of 2 billion people. If you weren't able to hear the music in person at one of the 7,000 viewing events you could catch it on television, radio or the Internet. The music concert heard round the world was to combat global warming and raise awareness to it.
